Harvest is fast approaching and things are getting very busy at Apple Lane Farm! This has been a very challenging season for apple growers in the Annapolis Valley. We had a very cold Spring and a very late frost which caused widespread damage across the valley. Thankfully, up on the south mountain we did not lose our entire crop of apples. We did lose some apples on our lower slope and have some damage on some of the apples that remain. We are so thankful however to have many apples without damage! We currently have cherries and plums available at the roadside stand! It won’t be long before the peaches, pears and apples will be here. We also have frozen apple cider available! The roadside stand is open Monday- Saturday from 8am - 5pm.Check us out on Facebookand Instagram to keep up to date on what varieties are ready and events coming up on the farm.
